What Raise an Anomaly food is
Raise an Anomaly food is how you obey the official line “Feed baby anomalies to level them up.” Food is not a side craft. Without it, the lab does not level, and cash stays small.
This page owns food and feeding as a system. The click-by-click first feed is the feed guide. Codes that grant food, such as FAIRY, are listed on the codes page only.

Official media shows a pale baby being offered a steak, then a tall screaming adult in a hallway. That is the visual definition of feeding: a baby plus food becomes a grown anomaly.
The store page does not name the steak as a shop SKU. Treat steak as artwork, then buy whatever the in-game Food Shop actually sells that session.
Fairy Cake
Fairy Cake is the one food named in an official-adjacent shout. On 16 September 2026 the group announced New Food Fairy Cake and the code FAIRY = 1 Fairy Cake.
Redeem FAIRY on the codes page, then use the cake as food. We do not have an XP value for it. Do not assume it is the best item in the shop just because it is new.
Community Food Shop list
Community wikis mention burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and Eyeball Soup. Eyeball Soup is rumoured to jump SCP-079 many levels in one clip. That clip is not timestamped here, so it is not a stat.
Use those names to recognise the shop. Spend on whatever you can restock, because an empty stock stalls the whole plot.

Food stock and the X2 FOOD STOCK pass
X2 FOOD STOCK is a gamepass whose blurb is “Permanently get 2x food stock!” The 2026-09-16 API snapshot marks it not for sale.
Until it returns, stock is a lab discipline problem: buy food before you go on a long steal, or the plot idles while you are gone.
Feeding order
Feed the anomaly that is already on the plot before you steal a second egg. A fed baby is income. An unfed baby is a decoration.
Age art (Age 1 bath versus Age 100) is a different label from Level art (Level 1 / 50 / 99999). Both imply time plus care. Neither prints an XP number.
